1.       What is your opinion about the architecture scene of Bangladesh right now?

Bangladesh is a developing country and presently we are in MIC group. General people per capita income is growing. Govt is taking huge infrastructural work where architects role are very important for sustainable development. Political will is a important thing to get a sustainable architectural impression and the present condition of Bangladesh is very supportive to explore the architectural profession. Large number of architects is working in public as well as in private sector and they are producing splendid work in terms of good architecture.

  1. What according to you is the future of architecture in Bangladesh?

Future of architecture in Bangladesh is very good due to we are a developing country where every day we have to solve a huge number of complexity. I believe where there is a complexity there is a solution, so complexity and contradiction generates some new solution/ideas in architecture.

  1. A piece of advice for young architects who want to build a career in this field

Traditional knowledge and understanding of commonsense is very important in architecture. Any architecture must have relation with past. Past is our root. Architects always tried to make relation with past, present and future.
