  1. What is your opinion about the art scene of Bangladesh right now?

There has been a drastic change in the art scene of Bangladesh compared to the past; according to me I think that the new media and performance art has also had a quite rapid development and improvement.

  1. What according to you is the future of art in Bangladesh?

The art scene in Bangladesh is currently on its on way to a much brighter future and I am quite sure that it will hold a strong platform in the international art platform in the near future.

  1. A piece of advice for young artists who want to build a career in this field

I think that the new generation artists are very talented and if they continue working with the Bangladeshi heritage and work hard enough,

I am quite sure that they will do well in the future.

  1. A quote that you swear by

“Never work for money, follow your passion!” This is something that I have been following from the beginning of my art career and till the very end of my art career.

About Artist

Kazi Salahuddin Ahmed is a self taught artist who has established his name amongst the well known painters of our country. He has been working as a Freelance artist for nearly the past three decades. His works are varied in medium starting from acrylic, oils and palette knife on canvas to brushwork on paper etc. His works have been exhibited in a number of national and international exhibitions and he has won several awards for his brilliant portrayal of contemporary art.
