A remarkable celebration of contemporary Bangladeshi art, Persistence opened at Bhumi Gallery, Centrepoint, Uttara, bringing together ten distinguished artists whose works have made significant contributions to the country’s artistic landscape.






Featuring 66 artworks across canvas, mixed media, and watercolour, the exhibition showcases the creative journeys of Tarun Ghosh, Farida Zaman, Mohammad Eunus, Jamal Ahmed, Ahmed Shamsuddoha, Rokeya Sultana, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Mohammad Iqbal, Shahid Kazi, and Abdullah Al Bashir. Through diverse styles and artistic approaches, the exhibition highlights dedication, resilience, and the enduring power of creative expression.






The inauguration ceremony, held on 20 June 2026, was graced by His Excellency Brent T. Christensen, Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh, as Chief Guest. Special guests included internationally acclaimed artist Monirul Islam, novelist and City Bank PLC MD & CEO Mashrur Arefin, and United Group Chairman & Managing Director Moinuddin Hasan Rashid.





An initiative of Saifur Rahman Lenin, Founder, Owner, and CEO of Bhumi Gallery, Persistence creates a meaningful dialogue between experience and innovation while celebrating the richness and diversity of contemporary Bangladeshi art.





The exhibition will continue until 25 July 2026 at Bhumi Gallery, Centrepoint, Uttara, Dhaka.
