  1. What is your opinion about the architecture scene of Bangladesh right now?

Comparing to the neighbouring countries, we have a very strong architectural scene which is also getting international recognition. We must stay towards quality work and display high level of sensitivity focus to maintain our status.

  1. What according to you is the future of architecture in Bangladesh?

The future of architecture of Bangladesh can be very bright if we maintain high degree of professionalism in our work. Our future is ours to build and we can only do that if we are true to ourselves and history and our context. It is also important for the quality of architecture education grow in order for us to produce sensitive and responsible architects.

  1. A piece of advice for young architects who want to build a career in this field

Architecture demands seriousness, sincerity and sensitiveness. It also demands passion and a lot of hard work. Young architects should pursue their career in architecture with integrity, sincerity and attitude to serve with dignity and honesty. It’s a wonderful subject that can be extremely rewarding but it requires patience and sacrifice.
